Rakshaabandhan ek hindoo va jain tyohaar hai jo prativarsh shraavan maas kee poornima ke din manaaya jaata hai. shraavan (saavan) mein manaaye jaane ke kaaran ise shraavanee (saavanee) ya saloono bhee kahate hain. Rakshaabandhan mein raakhee ya rakshaasootr ka sabase adhik mahattv hai. Raakhee kachche soot jaise sastee vastu se lekar rangeen kalaave, reshamee dhaage, tatha sone ya chaandee jaisee manhagee vastu tak kee ho sakatee hai. Rakshaabandhan bhaee bahan ke rishte ka prasiddh tyohaar hai, raksha ka matalab suraksha aur bandhan ka matalab baadhy hai.Rakshaabandhan ke din bahane bhagavaan se apane bhaeeyon kee tarakkee ke lie bhagavaan se praarthana karatee hai. Raakhee saamaanyatah bahanen bhaee ko hee baandhatee hain parantu braahmanon, guruon aur parivaar mein chhotee ladakiyon dvaara sammaanit sambandhiyon (jaise putree dvaara pita ko) bhee baandhee jaatee hai. kabhee-kabhee saarvajanik roop se kisee neta ya pratishthit vyakti ko bhee raakhee baandhee jaatee hai. rakshaabandhan ke din baajaar me kaee saare upahaar bikate hai, upahaar aur nae kapade khareedane ke lie baazaar me logon kee subah se shaam tak bheed hotee hai. Ghar me mehamaanon ka aana jaana rahata hai. rakshaabandhan ke din bhaee apane bahan ko raakhee ke badale kuchh upahaar dete hai. Rakshaabandhan ek aisa tyohaar hai jo bhaee bahan ke pyaar ko aur majaboot banaata hai, is tyohaar ke din sabhee parivaar ek ho jaate hai aur raakhee, upahaar aur mithaee dekar apana pyaar saajha karate hai.



Ab to prakrti sanrakshan hetu vrkshon ko raakhee baandhane kee parampara bhee praarambh ho gayee hai. Hindustaan mein raashtreey svayansevak sangh ke purush sadasy paraspar bhaeechaare ke liye ek doosare ko bhagava rang kee raakhee baandhate hain. Hindoo dharm ke sabhee dhaarmik anushthaanon mein rakshaasootr baandhate samay karmakaandee pandit ya aachaary sanskrt mein ek shlok ka uchchaaran karate hain, jisamen rakshaabandhan ka sambandh raaja bali se spasht roop se drshtigochar hota hai. Bhavishyapuraan ke anusaar indraanee dvaara nirmit rakshaasootr ko devaguru brhaspati ne indr ke haathon baandhate hue nimnalikhit svastivaachan kiya (yah shlok rakshaabandhan ka abheesht mantr hai)



The ritual अनुष्ठान

Praatah snaanaadi se nivrtt hokar ladakiyaan aur mahilaen pooja kee thaalee sajaatee hain. Thaalee mein raakhee ke saath rolee ya haldee, chaaval, deepak, mithaee aur kuchh paise bhee hote hain. Ladake aur purush taiyaar hokar teeka karavaane ke liye pooja ya kisee upayukt sthaan par baithate hain. Pahale abheesht devata kee pooja kee jaatee hai, isake baad rolee ya haldee se bhaee ka teeka karake chaaval ko teeke par lagaaya jaata hai aur sir par chhidaka jaata hai, usakee aaratee utaaree jaatee hai, daahinee kalaee par raakhee baandhee jaatee hai aur paison se nyauchhaavar karake unhen gareebon mein baant diya jaata hai. Bhaarat ke anek praanton mein bhaee ke kaan ke oopar bhojalee ya bhujariyaan lagaane kee pratha bhee hai. bhaee bahan ko upahaar ya dhan deta hai. Is prakaar rakshaabandhan ke anushthaan ko poora karane ke baad hee bhojan kiya jaata hai. Pratyek parv kee tarah upahaaron aur khaane-peene ke vishesh pakavaanon ka mahattv rakshaabandhan mein bhee hota hai. Aamataur par dopahar ka bhojan mahattvapoorn hota hai aur rakshaabandhan ka anushthaan poora hone tak bahanon dvaara vrat rakhane kee bhee parampara hai. Purohit tatha aachaary subah-subah yajamaanon ke ghar pahunchakar unhen raakhee baandhate hain aur badale mein dhan, vastr aur bhojan aadi praapt karate hain. Yah parv bhaarateey samaaj mein itanee vyaapakata aur gaharaee se samaaya hua hai ki isaka saamaajik mahattv to hai hee, dharm, puraan, itihaas, saahity aur filmen bhee isase achhoote nahin hain.



Social context सामाजिक प्रसंग

Nepaal ke pahaadee ilaakon mein braahman evan kshetreey samudaay mein raksha bandhan guroo aur bhaaginey ke haath se baandha jaata hai. Lekin dakshin seema mein rahane vaale bhaarateey mool ke nepaalee bhaarateeyon kee tarah bahan se raakhee bandhavaate hain. Is din bahanen apane bhaee ke daayen haath par raakhee baandhakar usake maathe par tilak karatee hain aur usakee deergh aayu kee kaamana karatee hain. Badale mein bhaee unakee raksha ka vachan deta hai. Aisa maana jaata hai ki raakhee ke rangabirange dhaage bhaee-bahan ke pyaar ke bandhan ko mazaboot karate hai. haee bahan ek doosare ko mithaee khilaate hain aur sukh-dukh mein saath rahane ka vishvaas dilaate hain. Yah ek aisa paavan parv hai jo bhaee-bahan ke pavitr rishte ko poora aadar aur sammaan deta hai.


Sage bhaee bahan ke atirikt anek bhaavanaatmak rishte bhee is parv se bandhe hote hain jo dharm, jaati aur desh kee seemaon se pare hain. Rakshaabandhan ka parv bhaarat ke raashtrapati aur pradhaanamantree ke nivaas par bhee manaaya jaata hai. Jahaan chhote chhote bachche jaakar unhen raakhee baandhate hain. Rakshaabandhan aatmeeyata aur sneh ke bandhan se rishton ko mazabootee pradaan karane ka parv hai. Yahee kaaran hai ki is avasar par na keval bahan bhaee ko hee apitu any sambandhon mein bhee raksha (ya raakhee) baandhane ka prachalan hai. Guru shishy ko rakshaasootr baandhata hai to shishy guru ko. Bhaarat mein praacheen kaal mein jab snaatak apanee shiksha poorn karane ke pashchaat gurukul se vida leta tha to vah aachaary ka aasheervaad praapt karane ke lie use rakshaasootr baandhata tha jabaki aachaary apane vidyaarthee ko is kaamana ke saath rakshaasootr baandhata tha ki usane jo gyaan praapt kiya hai vah apane bhaavee jeevan mein usaka samuchit dhang se prayog kare taaki vah apane gyaan ke saath-saath aachaary kee garima kee raksha karane mein bhee saphal ho. Isee parampara ke anuroop aaj bhee kisee dhaarmik vidhi vidhaan se poorv purohit yajamaan ko rakshaasootr baandhata hai aur yajamaan purohit ko. Is prakaar donon ek doosare ke sammaan kee raksha karane ke liye paraspar ek doosare ko apane bandhan mein baandhate hain. Rakshaabandhan parv saamaajik aur paarivaarik ekabaddhata ya ekasootrata ka saanskrtik upaay raha hai. Vivaah ke baad bahan paraaye ghar mein chalee jaatee hai. Is bahaane prativarsh apane sage hee nahin apitu dooradaraaj ke rishton ke bhaiyon tak ko unake ghar jaakar raakhee baandhatee hai aur is prakaar apane rishton ka naveeneekaran karatee rahatee hai. Do parivaaron ka aur kulon ka paarasparik yog (milan) hota hai. Samaaj ke vibhinn vargon ke beech bhee ekasootrata ke roop mein is parv ka upayog kiya jaata hai. Is prakaar jo kadee toot gayee hai use phir se jaagrt kiya ja sakata hai.


Rakshaabandhan ke avasar par kuchh vishesh pakavaan bhee banaaye jaate hain jaise ghevar, shakarapaare, namakapaare aur ghughanee. Ghevar saavan ka vishesh mishthaann hai yah keval halavaee hee banaate hain jabaki shakarapaare aur namakapaare aamataur par ghar mein hee banaaye jaate hain. Ghughanee banaane ke liye kaale chane ko ubaalakar chatapata chhaunka jaata hai. Isako pooree aur dahee ke saath khaate hain. Halava aur kheer bhee is parv ke lokapriy pakavaan hain.
